I want to switch AA 1 to AA2 for all incoming calls, right now calls come right into the AA. When i go in and try to change the line assignments the lines are not assigned to AA1 and the scheduler controller is in the switch mode, how do i deactivate AA 1 and activate AA 2?

Any line NOT assigned to AA 2, 3, or 4 will be answered by AA-1.

Use line assignement (option 6) in AA2 to assign the lines to it. Remember to use the 3-digit line numbers (801, 802, 803, etc.)

The above assumes that the lines are assigned directly to the voice mail calling group.

If the lines hit the Auto Attendant via a different route, such as assigned to a different calling group that overflows to the voice mail calling group, or to an extension as Principal User, which covers to voice mail, you're going to need to find those assignments, then delete and re-create the associated mailbox, steering the calls to AA2 instead.

Start by looking at Extensions > More > Group Calling > 770 (or whatever you dial to reach voice mail) > Enter > Lines and Trunks > Inspect

If i give you a print od system info, would you be able to tell what i have to do? What part of system info would you need? Thanks!!

the system print is not helping because it would need to be a print of the voicemail, that's wehre you have to assign the lines to the AA.
go into the admin of the voicemail
go to the Auto Attendants (3)
then pick your Auto Attendant (2)
then assign the lines to the Auto Attendant (6)
I think you have to pick the lines like you have them in the System (801, 802,...)but I am not sure about that one any more.

If you can't be good, be good at it!

You could post general trunk and extension directory prints.

There where no line assignments for AA 1. I am trying to find out how else it would work.

If you print general trunk you may find that line ownership for all lines is assigned to a extension. AKA Principle User. You could then dial that extension number and determine if the correct AA answers. If so you could then go into messaging and delete the box for that extension and build a new box for that extension as the AA of your choice.

Or maybe the lines are assigned to a group. You could print out all groups and see if lines are assigned to one of them. If so call the extension number and see if the correct AA answers. If so goto messaging and delete the box for that extension and build a new box as the AA of your choice.

No principle user for trunks in 70 pool. So print all groups and post.

Allright, quoting myself from my first responce:

Any line NOT assigned to AA 2, 3, or 4 will be answered by AA-1.

Use line assignement (option 6) in AA2 to assign the lines to it. Remember to use the 3-digit line numbers (801, 802, 803, etc.)

So, please try that, (Assigning the lines to AA-2, not worrying about them not being currently assigned to AA-1), and see if that solves your problem.

If not, then do a print of your CALLING GROUPS, and post that here.

Thank you.
