What does it mean if my AA(f982) says:

ATDT:None
Answer Lines:Y
ATDT Avail:N
Business Open:Y

The phone system is fronted by voicemail and gives the options to dail by extension or for a directory. Is this CCR? Or AA? And which ever one it is, how do I change the default mlbx,if a caller doesn't press anything or if they press 0. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ATDT=none It means you dont have a default system operator setup pressing 0 in CCR tree

Answer lines:Y your system is set to answer lines feature 983 AA, Lines

ATDT Avial=N means that if you did have a default operator setup calls would go strait to VM or back to main menu depending on your setup

Business open Is for Business Status if set to yes greetings are played according to the time scheduled in greeting table Feature 983 AA, Table When set to no your non business greeting will be played

Hope this helps

It certainly does but I would still like to know what this sytem is using is it CCR, or both CCR and AA? And if I want to point it somewhere when someone presses 0 where do I do that?

Under Feature 983 AA, Table, enter the table number you use 1,2,3... press ok press next until you come to ATDT There is a few places to setup operator and depending on where the customer is in VMail when they press 0 it will use the appropriate ATDT

does that help?

Can't edit my post to add this. Assigning the Greeting Table Attendant orverides the designated operator feature 982

Meaning if under table you have ATDT set to lets say 21 or 221 if someone presses 0 it will go to 21 or 221. If you did not have ATDT set under AA, TABLE it would use the designated operator Feature 982

Now lets say you have 2 TABLES setup table 1 could have ATDT set to 221 and TABLE 2 could have ATDT set to 223 and both could use CCR tree 1
TABLE 1 could answer lines 1 and 2 and have operator 221
TABEL 2 could answer lines 3 and 4 and have operator 223
