I recently installed an IP Office 403. I need to setup an auto attendant, but have ran into trouble. I have the documents, but they really don't explain things very well. I'm used to a Definity G3, the features I need are below.

*enable the attendant from one or more extensions, unless you can do time of day routing.
*once calls come in they can key the extension or have the option of a directory.

Do you have the Voice Mail Pro software available?? Otherwise it won't be possible.

My first experience with IP Office and Voice mail Pro was jus t a few months ago too and I found the docs in the Engineers Tool Kit CD to be very helpful in setting up call routing.

Check out the job aids on the Avaya web site, lots of examples , cant go wrong if you can read, haha

On the eng toolkit on disk 3 there is the manual of IPOffice vmail excersises, this shows everything (well nearky all) that you require. However there are lots of work rounds and things not in the manual, best advice is to play with it !! TheIPO....

The first install is always the hardest if you go through the examples in the training docs and job aids you’ll see how flexible VM Pro is, you’ve just got to take the time.
