Auto attendant

Good afternoon, I recently posted about having trouble how to hook up a Norstar flash 2 port voicemail to a Nortel DR5 6x16 unit. I have since got it to work being I did not have a DS cabinet. Anyway, I'm trying to program the Auto Attendant feature but I'm running into a problem. Whenever I program everything (greeting/CCR Tree/ etc.) when I try calling the number with AA turned on, it will ring about 1 time and hang up. Or when it's turned off I will pick up the phone ( when it rings normally) and it still hangs up when I answer the call. I think there's a setting messed up but I don't know? Any help or suggestions would be great!!! Thanks a lot!

sounds like a bad 6x16 cabinet. try another trunk port for your line. I've had trunk ports go bad.

The call only disconnects after I try to program the auto attendant. Otherwise before I do any programming the line trunk works just fine. I believe it has to be some type of setting, but I just don't know? Also, I know that the greeting works because I heard the original greeting before I restored it to default. I will still try your suggestion just in case. Any other suggestions or help would be great, thanks a lot!

Unplug the voice mail system and test, if same issue replace the 6X16.

What is the resolution to get the voice mail going? please update your post here to those whom have assisted you:

Can you please verify this: Unplug the voice mail system and test
Let us know if same issue.

Also try the other lines and report back.
