Hi

I have a 3300 CX running MCD6 SP2 with an auto attendant at a client. It's the main/primary auto attendant with a recording and 2 options. The system then prompts you to enter the extension if you know it or hold for the operator. Everything worked perfectly and just suddenly now it strips the first digit of the extension you punch in, so for example you enter extension 2300 and the system then says transferring you to extension 300 and then obviously comes back saying the extension does not exist.

I have checked and can't see that any settings have changed. I have now created the 3 digit speed dials pointing to the actual number to buy me some time while I get this resolved.

Any ideas?

Can you test internally?

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

Is 2300 a valid mailbox?

do you have a single digit mailbox 2

I think you can see where I'm going with this.

@LoopyLou: I will get them to test internally and get back to you.

@kwbMitel: no I only have the following mailboxes: 0,9999,1 and 2

OK,

as soon as you dial 2 the system is taking you to Mailbox 2

Then as you continue dialing, 300, the system dials out of mailbox 2.

Create a mailbox 2300 to fix the issue.
