Is there a way of ringing a user or a hunt group before the auto attendant answers?
I would like the system to ring the main hunt group for approx 8 rings before being transferred to auto attendant
 
create a shortcode *22 autoattendant your AAname
create a user and forward it to *22
create a new huntgroup and put that user into that huntgroup (no queueing and make the group sequential)
put the new group into the overflow of teh original group that rings the users

convoluted but that is embedded for you

Thanks for that, worked a treat. I have never had to create a virtual user but now is the time.
When it asks for an extension number what should I input?
 
Anything you like, but something not likely to be dialled in normal use :)
