I am trying to set up auto attendant on a coral system with a iCMC card installed in it. I have fully set up the service but the customer has a private line that they do not want in the auto attendant. The trunks come in to a CO card. Customer has 8 lines, I am having trouble removing the private line out of the auto attendant service. Any ideas? Also is there a way to put the voice mail into day and night mode by a button programming a button on the phone?

Hi,

1. What do you actually want to do with this other line? You say you don't want it to go to the AA but don't say where you DO want it to go? Straight to a phone or hunt group etc??

2. What type of lines/card do you have? You say CO so I assume it's a 4T/8T card - is that correct? If so, are all trunks in the same rotary/stepping group for incoming calls or (hopefully) this one line you is a single line.

3. The iCMC cannot itself be put into day/night service via a button. You can setup schedules on the iCMC for it's day/night service or logon as an administrator's mailbox to manually change it's serice. You can however put the Coral into day/night service via a button but only if you're using 4T/8T cards - if using BRI/PRI then you can't but you can still use a button to forward groups etc to different destinations to achieve the same thing.

Let me know.

If the private line you are talking about is analog, go to "trk" programing and enter the destination under d.i.l,night1 and night2. The line will then go where you want it to go. It will not go to the Auto Attendant.
