Auto Attendant Transfer issues

3300 with Auto attendant answering main incoming trunk. 4 digit extensions. when someone enters a 3 digit extension the system attempts to transfer to the extension and then the message " that mailbox is full and cannot accept any new messges" plays. where is the call being routed to? how can this 3 digit dialing be stopped? Attendant Allow any Transfer is set to yes at the moment.

Any thoughts appreciated :)
 
When I attempt the same scenario, the system returns "That extension is invalid".

That being said, I seem to remember a similar scenario on a system but I can't duplicate it.

I suspect but can't prove that the mailbox full message is coming from mailbox Zero. You can view how many messages a mailbox has by selecting and modifying thru ESM.

The only way to prevent users from entering non-valid entries is to turn off the Dail any Extension feature. With the feature off, the users can only dial extensions with associated mailboxes.
