I have system IP Office 7.0 that has four analog lines, all answered by auto attendant. Occasionally the transfer from auto attendant will fail and AA will state that the station is unavailable. If you redial the station the system may then transfer. All lines will sometimes fail and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Is this a known issue that an upgrade would correct? I am scratching my head on this one, Thanks

what does a monitor trace show when it fails, have all lines been tested?

Read the Monitor Trace AA. Maybe the first DTMF tone is not recognized and the AA is trying to transfer the call to a "station unavailable" because one digit is missing.

I bet it is embedded voicemail.
It has gotten better over time (so upgrade is a good thing in this case) but I still get the odd time that customers say it happens but it is so rare that it is not worth troubleshooting any more.
