Auto Attendant Tranfer going to voicemail. 1

We have an auto attendant (single tier) that transfers to hunt groups. These hunt groups CALL FWD ALWAYS to ring groups during the day and the hunt groups VM at night.

However suddenly when the caller presses any of the options they are sent to the voicemail not the ring group. I can ring the hunt group directly from the outside world and it's passed through to the ring group, and a quick check of CP SERVICE shows that it is in fact in day service. So the AA appears to be screwed up.

Anyone seen this before. I might schedule a reboot for tonight, but if anyone can advise me of a solution that doesn't require a reboot I would be greatful.
 
Is the Mailbox type set to extension (needs to be) or to Mailbox only (likely issue)

another solution thanks to kwbMitel, you should do this for a living! ;-)

Weird one this is, it was set on Information mailbox (by design) as I didn't want people to leave a message and it was working strangely. But it only just started to do this. But the change to extension worked.
 
To achieve your goal, you should make the first mailbox a transfer only mailbox. This MB will not match the DN but the extension programmed for it will. Then change your original MB back to the Info type MB.

The AA will use the Transfer only MB to send the call to the appropriate DN and when it returns to VM it will integrate with the Info Only MB.

Will this double the amount of mailbox licenses required.
 
How many of these do you have?

The setup I've recommended will require 2 per.
