Hello ,

I have some question about auto-attendant

1. where is the optimum configuration for auto-attendant on Call manager or cisco unity ?

2. I had setup Auto-attendant on call manager by configuring CTI route point with extension 8000 & four CTI port ( 8001,8002,8003 and 8004 ) , when i dial 8000 i can hear the greeting message but when i press 0 to transfer to operator , the agreeting repeating itself . could you exaplain me the reason ?

3. Shall i configure the unity for the auto attendant or call manager is capable to handle the option for all incoming calls to my community ?

4. The greeting message should instruct the caller to press the desire extension or 1 for helpdesk or press 0 for operator , how to do this on Call Manager auto attendant or to do it on Cisco unity ?

Regards,

1. Easiest - Unity
2. Check your Caller input settings on your Mailbox/CallHandler for '0' see where it's pointing.
3. See 1.
4. AutoAttendant on CallManager it's done in the Menu section, in Unity it's done on the Greeting.
