I am in the process of recording a auto attendant message.

What is the best possible way of doing this? This is my first implementation of IP Officd 403.

The message will be like this:

Thank you for call abc company, if you know your party extension please dial it now. Alternatively choose from the following options. For sales press 5, for service press 6, for office hours press 9, for the operator press 0.

Does this recording have to be recorded in parts or can it be one recording?

How can I have the recording repeat it self after a caller reach the end?

Many thanks

Set up a 'recordings' module in vmpro. Personally, I'd give it a pin as well. Then just set up a shortcode to point to this 'recordings' module and give the phone to the receptionist to record it :)

It can be recorded as 1 long msg (just enable the 'can be interupted' bit).

Just point the 'timeout' part of the menu back to the same menu.

If all that doesn't make any sense - drop me a line at 'andy @ datavox . co .uk' and I'll show you.

cheers
