I have some people still working from home that are a Hunt Group. When they tell me they are working from home for that particular day go into the Avaya Manager and activate Twinning including hunt group calls then since they are already in the hunt group I check the box to make them active. Just like what happens when they press the ACD button on their handsets. They could easily have someone just press the twinning and ACD buttons on their phones to take them in and out of the call queue, but most times I'm asked to do this and it's getting annoying. Is there a way I can have them call in and turn on twinning and the ACD button themselves then turn them back off when they leave the call queue. I believe this could be done in the AA. Thanks for any help.

You can turn Twinning on and off and change the number via a Generic action, but I don't see a way to enable and disable hunt group. You can toggle DND, so if their desk phone were left logged into the group, with Twinning on and DND on, simply toggling DND off should allow them to receive calls.

You could also set up a DID with FNE-31, set up Short Codes for Hunt Group Enable and Disable, Set Mobile Twinning On and Off, have them call in and dial the short codes for on, when their shift ends they dial in again and dial the short codes for off.

Just give them access to the user portal.
They can log in and turn twinning on or off on their own.
