Hi All.

I had to set up an autoattendant for a customer, so that the line would ring 6 times, and then give a message telling customers to call another site.

I have set up the atto attendant, as shown in the attached files, and when I call, after 6 rings, the autoattendant picks up, and gives the customer recorded message.

Great.

However, i have added 2 transfer mailboxes, which if the customer knows to press 1 or 2 will direct them to the correct person.

When I get the message and press "1" for example, I get a message saying "Please enter the extension you want..." NOT being transferred to the extension.

Can anyone, in the attached documents see what I am missing?

Regards

You attachemnets do not exist.

Fairly simple though....you post is conflicting and not understood if to transfer to phone or mailbox though.

"i have added 2 transfer mailboxes"
If you to transfer to an info box:

Create a Path 1 and select LVMSG, enter info mailbox #

or

"1 or 2 will direct them to the correct person"
Create Path 1 and select TRSNF, enter the ext #

Hi Curlycord.

What I wanted to do was... after the message greeting the user to the company is spoken, the user can press either number 1 0r number 2 on their phone to get to different employees.

If they do not answer after a given number of rings THEN it goes to voicemail for the person that was called.

However, pressing either the 1 key or 2 key gets the message "Please enter the number of the extension you wish to call..."

Regards

make sure you have created the tree properly

is the message you are getting automated or manually recorded.
are you getting the message you recorded

Make sure you have assigned the ccr tree to the AA Greeting table you are using
Default is set to None which means you get th AA greetings and not you custom greetings
AA- greeting table 1
Greeting 1
CCR 1

CCR1
path 1--transfer-- Change--then enter the extn number ( 225)
Path 2--transfer --Change--then enter the extn number (226)

then at each extn forward the call to the voicemail DN for the system( eg:334)
set the forward delay to 6 rings
