Auto attendant puts caller into voicemail 1

CICS 6.1 with new Call Pilot 100. Three lines. If one line is in use and there is another call coming into another line, the new caller gets immediately put into the voicemail of the user on the first line. CCR tree is set up to send caller to voicemail boxes of users and works fine if there is no line in use. All the lines are supervised. Have rebooted and cannot find reason.
 
your DND on busy or fwd on busy settings need to be cleared
 
It worked. I had forwarded the stations to DN 35 (the first of two Callpilot DN) as I thought that was necessary to go to voice mail on 'busy' or 'no answer'. Thanks for the quick response and on Sunday.
 
Thanks Guru. I still need to link the voicemail if there is no answer. I also noticed that the station sets were set to 'Y' to allow redirect and I changed that to 'N'. Wonder if that was the problem so that the cfna can be safely put to the CPDN??
 
Well..it depends on how you've set your system up. If you did a "start-up" default for redirect is N..so this could have caused some issue. But it depends on your set up. Are all phones ringing?
I've always set up a reception phone ext221 as the appear and ring phone, and make the rest..either appear only for lines.
Is there still a problem?
 
It seems to be working. I'll reselect cfna to CPDN and see what happens. I had changed the redirect to 'Y' when I was attempting to CF an extension to an outside phone number and it didn't work. I had changed all the sets to 'Y' to allow redirect and forgot to change them back. All are now changed back and all are ringing. I have not tried another method to get that extension to call an outside phone number for a cell phone redirect.
 
Depending on your requirements..you can do this within the CP. Outbound Transfer feature.
