Does anyone know if it is possible for internal calls that dial zero can go into the auto attendant main menu at present when you dial zero you go into your own mailbox, i have made a speedcall from zero to auto attendant but it just goes into your own mailbox rather than the AA. Many Thanks.

system???
Voicemail type???

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Sorry 3300icp rel 8 using embedded voicmail and there are only 2 opions which are mailbox 1 and 2.

would have to call something like a name tag hunt group with no associated mailbox. See some of the previous posts on shaking the integration on Mitel sets to voicemail.

There may be no i in team but there are three f's in fudge off.

Create a Nametag Huntgroup.
Reroute always this HG to the voicemail HG.
Change system speed dial 0 to ring the newly created Nametag huntgroup.

Tried changing hunt group to a nametag huntgroup and then reroute always to vm but it then goes to the open trees vm for the main vm not the AA.

You will need to create a ACD path with no agents in and Queue callers when no agents are logged in set to yes, You can then set the interflow to timer to 1 sec and the location to the voicemail.
This will then take the ID of the path and get answered by the voicemail box that has the same number as the path.

boycey9 is suggesting an older method that functionally is no different than the Nametag method already offered.

For details on both methods see the following FAQ.
faq1329-7197

Your statement regarding the call going to "Open Trees VM for the main VM and not the AA" does not compute.

The Main Level VM IS the AA.

Why don't you try telling us what the ultimate goal is instead of feeding us one piece at a time. I suspect what you want to do is Direct Messaging (Also referenced in the FAQ above).

There is 1 hunt group for the embedded vm and 1 hg for AA, i need internal extn that have vm to be able to go into the AA as well as go into the main vm, what happens is that every time they dial the AA it goes into the main vm and asks for there password.77 is for vm and 79 is for AA.Thanks

When you responded above you said you "Tried Changing
hunt group to nametag". This is not what was suggested. The suggesting was to CREATE a new group, with Type Nametag, and DN that does not match an internal VM. This may be your issue.

Otherwise, assuming that you set up the nametag group correctly above and routed it to Group 79. How did the response from the voicemail differ from your expectations?

HG 79 is AA and has nametag programmed when you dial in to 79 you get the vm for the embedded vm as if you dont have a mailbox, i want to go into the AA when dialling 79.

Change the huntgroup 79 back to what it was originally.

Create a new huntgroup XX (XX not to be a valid MB)
Set routing of huntgroup XX to route to 79

Dial XX
