Auto-Attendant Problem

Hi All,

I have a BCM400 4.0 All current patches. Problem is no matter what I set the rings on the auto attend. to ans in any greeting table, It answers at 3 rings. I could set it for 2 or 10, it will still ans. at 3 rings.

I have 16 analog lines comming into the system on CTM8's,manual night service is configured and works fine,the only DN that the line's appear and ring on is the operators phone.

Checked call fwd.,it is not conflicting.

Any ideas?
 
One more strange thing, when a call rings in it acts as if it were an internal call ringing with 2 short rings at the phone, alomost like it is being transfered out of voicemail.
 
I'm sure you know Centrex lines have a double ring. You should use your test set on the demarc to see if that double ring is coming from telco. Usually that just means you need to adjust your AA to answer later. In other words if you want 4 rings set the AA to 8.
