Hi All,

I created an auto attendant greeting with the option where it say if you know your parties extension please dial it now with timeout of 3 seconds, then press 1 for x, press 2 for Z etc
The extensions start with 1xx
When I press 1xx the option 1 goes to X and will not let me dial an extension.
Is there a way for me to make this work so that the caller can enter the extension directly?

Thank you in advance

You will need to create an option with 1?? Then point it to a transfer action with $key in action field Then change your greeting so it does not has an option to press 1 for x. Make 3 or 4 for x.

Other thing is, create a menu with “if you know your party ext dial it now” message and only 2 options. 1?? And timeout. Point the timeout to another menu with the rest of options 1 for x. 2 for z message.

Thanks icet500 and Tommy

I got it to work

Pink for TTT. You could make it fancier, say adding logic to test what was dialed against the extensions, but what he posted will do exactly what you asked for.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
