Hi All.

Little problem here.... probably something simple that I am missing...

I have set up an auto attendant, Greetings, CCR, etc. and verified that the recordings exist.

However when I call into the unit, I get the "canned" recording, or if I select my Greeting specifically, I get ONLY that.... it never goes to the recording that tells what the CCR options are.

How do I get MY voicemail to pick up and move me to the other recorded menu.

Help is appreciated.

Regards

Hi Curlycord. Let's put this in some kind of order...

When I call in, I don't get my greeting (Good Morning, Good afternoon, Good evening) which are recorded in Greeting 1, 2, and 3 respectively. These have been added in the Table in the Greeting section.

I have recorded a custom recording, which is checked in my Table1. The recording says "Press 1 for Fred, 2 for Wilma, 3 for Dino". With this selected, I indeed hear it; however I do not get my "Good Morning / Afternoon/ Evening".

To add insult to injury, when I depress 1, or 2, or 3 I get "You have entered an invalid extension". If I dial the extension ITSELF, it gets through.

Any other ideas?

Regards

If you want CCR then program as:

Turn Menu Prompt off in table.

For Dino press 1 etc - should be recorded in Path 0 of the CCR Tree 1

Path 1 should be programmed to TRSF to Dino's ext.
etc

Hi CurlyCord.

I don't know if I understand properly. Do you have any screenshots you can post? I've tried to post pictures but they don't seem to go.

Regards

Hi Curlycord and all.

Well, I'm getting closer for what I want but I still can't get the blinking Company Greeting to take, even though I have followed the book to the letter.

I know that my recordings exist, because I have verified them by playback.

But I did find out that for my transfers to work in the CCR, I had to select the "custom digits", AFTER making sure ALL the digits had something recorded. I guess, if you wanted, you could record dead air for a second... but I did them all so I knew where they were going.

Maybe this is what you meant, Curlycord, in your above post.

Now if anyone else knows why my morning, afternoon and evening greetings aren't playing FIRST, that would help alot.

Regards

Make sure you have allocated the greets in the TABLE you are using.

eg: greeting 1 to MORNING
Greeting 2 to AFTERNOON etc..

Morning Afternoon Evening Non Business

Greetings 1 2 3 4
CCR Tree 1 1 1 1

Assign your line to the TABLE 1

EG: line 200 Table 1 0 rings

Hi there.

Thanks for the responses. After verifying that everything was ok in my programming with the manuals and the help here, just for giggles, I grabbed another unit off of the shelf, and programmed it up EXACTLY THE SAME WAY.... and everything worked as it was supposed to.

Moral of the story.... if you are sure you did everything right, don't forget the equipment can be the issue.... <grin>

Regards

Try reinstall of the call pilot on the original system to see if this fixes the software..

I had to do this a few times on systems that had mailbox issues
