We just upgraded our IPO SME and VMPro to 2.1.27 and 2.1.14 respectively. Now, when a call comes in on the analog trunks they hear about 10 sec. of the 60 sec. AA and then nothing. What's really strange is that it will work fine for the 1st 5-6 inbound calls and then start hanging. The call does not drop and you can not input any prompts.

All was working fine before the upgrade.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Do you have to restart you Voicemail pro services when this happen?

No, we do not have to restart VMPro or the IP Office.

I think what Kane was trying to find out is, how do you get it working again? Will a restart of the vmpro service do the trick, or do you have to reboot the vmpro PC, or reboot the IPO, combination of the above....?

What are the minimum required steps to get it working for another 5-6 calls? This will narrow down what exactly is failing. Also, suggest you capture a monitor trace.

We are not 100% sure at this time, but the AA is magically now working. We will do some more testing tomorrow.
We had to reboot the IPO to get the AA working again. Another oddity is that when you access the AA using a short code, we can not make it fail. The failure only occurrs on an inbound call.

We have a Pentium 1Ghz w/ 512 RAM running VMPro. I am wondering the there is not enough HP for VMPro to run properly. The SME is very lighly used by 4-5 persons. Any thoughts?

One thought: you have PLENTY of ponies in that VMPro server :)

Let us know if the problem reoccurs.
