I need some advise please on the following scenario:

I have an incoming call route, which goes to AA:Main, and has a fallback of a user Extn101.

Is there any way that i can disable the AA:Main via a feature button, so the user can select whether the auto attendant is in active or not. If not, calls should route to the user Extn101.

Is this possible with Essential Edition, or would i need VM Pro Pref Edition?

It would be simply putting a group in and out of service with a virtual user in the relevant group forward unconditional to your AA

Hmmm interesting, thanks! And the ring mode of the hunt group sequential?

Hello everybody,
I want to do the same thing in my IP office.

CAn you describe a liitle bit more detailed how we can do this "disabbling auto attendant with a feature code"

Thanks

SC to dial AA e.g *60 / AutoAttendant / AA:MainAA
Phantom user created with forward unconditional (including HG calls) set to *60
HG MainAA(sequential, no VM) with phantom user as only member.

ICR targets this HG, call goes to AA

Create anotherHG MainAAOOS (or whatever you want to call it), add extn 101 as user

on HG mainAA, set fallback OOS to HG MainAAOOS

On a phone add a feature button, set hunt group out of service action data = HG MainAA.

Calls will now ring HG MainAAOOS / extn 101

Thank you for your help

do I need to run specific aw version of Ip office manager in order to create the sc to AA because currently I am running version 7.0 and I don't think it has this option.

ok and what about the voice messages left when the AA is functioning, how can i retrieve them ?

AA doesnt have voicemail, for that you would need to target a huntgroup or user with voicemail enalbled, and setup voicemail collect feature button accordingly on the phones.

In the ICR i will ve as destination the HG which has the phantom user and fallback the HG main ?

am i correct ?

i 've created 2 buttons in my extension
one to enable AA (which means enable the HG with the phantom user on it. i used clear huntgroup out of service action) and
one to disble AA (which means disable the HG with the phantom user on it. i used set huntgroup out of service action)

Do i did it correct or there is a more easier way ?

Thanks

Hello everybody,

Sorry about the continuous posts.

I ve done all the above steps and they are working fine.

I ve created the HG with the phantom user which points to the AA
I ve created feature buttons to disable the HG operation

What i need to do know is to 've the ability to leave a voice mail message after the AA messages,

How can i achieve this by adding a button to the AA actions whcih will transfer to an extension which will ve voicemail enabled ?

I want to minimize the waiting time as much as possible .

Thanks for your help i appreciate it.
