Auto Attendant Change

I recently took over admin of a Merlin Legend system. The old installer programmed lines 18, 19, and 20 to be answered by an auto attendant (#2). He set the general mailbox owner to be a person in the office (extension 43). He also assigned mailbox 43 to auto attendant 2. Since extension 43 was assigned to auto attendant 2, that extension did not have a mailbox. We have an extension that all visitors use (extension 53) that also rings those 3 lines. So, I deleted mailbox 43, and re-created it so it now has a mailbox that the person sitting at extension 43 can use. I also deleted mailbox 53 and re-created it to be assigned to auto attendant 2 and I changed the general mailbox owner to now be extension 53. Now when I go into the mailbox setup for 53, it says that it is assigned to auto attendant 2, and mailbox 43 is just a standard mailbox now.

Problem now is that when someone calls in on any of those lines, they simply hear "Extnesion 43 is not avalible," rather than auto attendant 2.

Was wondering if anyone had an idea on why it does this now? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check principal user on the lines being used? You may want to assign them to x53 which in turn will play AA 2.
