I have a ACS 6.0 with PCVM 3.0 large Voice mail..
I setup the AA selector code 5 as a " Selector code Transfer" and assigned Px 12 to it.
Px 12 has a VM box and is programmed for 1 ring before the VM system answers.
So far all is ok...I found that if I call Px 12 via the intercom, the VM system answers ok...But if a caller comes into the system via the Auto Attn'd and dials "5", the call goes to Px 12 ok but the VM will never answer the call.
My fix was to assign Px 12 in # 607 " Auto Attnd Extensions" and then it worked fine.
The explanation in the ACS book for # 607 says " This procedure applies only to Auto Attendants----Do not use it with the Auto Attendant service of a Voice Messaging system"
Did I do the right thing?..It seems to be working fine .
