Authorization codes

How do I use authorization codes? I have them enabled in System parameters customer options, feature related system parameters, and even on the the first pages of my trunk groups. How do I enter the access code in the phone I want to use the code on? When I dial the seven digit code, nothing happens and then I get waived off. When I dial 9 first, then the code, it takes me to a dial tone similar to when you access call-forward. But then I try to dial an outside number and it doesn't allow me. I've checked my ars analysis and I'm not dialing numbers that are restricted. Any suggestions?

You need to press 9 to access line first dial complete number with # then dial your auth code.

check the auth code lenth also.

Hi,
You need to set the FRL of the station's COR (I mean the phone you're using) to "0", that way you'd get an intercept tone. Then you need to put your authorization code.
