I have something hitting one of my router and I'm getting a trap but the trap being sent from the 8600 does not have an IP. Also its not showing anything in the log files.

Any insight?

Do you receive any trap from the 8600? If not you should check if there are any trap receivers configured and check the version (v1/v2). Also do you receive any other traps on your trap receive device?
What software code are you running? I'm confident you will see the source ip as of 8600 release 3.5.3.0.
