I installed mysql server on Linux 7.2 and set password. And now I forget this password so i install again but it still requirement old password. Anybody help me, thanks

if you know what the path to your datadir is, then change to that directory, delete the "mysql" folder and run the "mysql_install_db" script again - no need of reinstall
