Hi, I've a problem with my wireless network. I'm working with 2 Access Points and 1 PC with a wireless card (linux). I use WPA-PSK like authentication way. For it, I have defined WPA-PSK, as much in the Points Access as in the client card. I've defined the same ESSID in the 2 Access Points, with the same WPA Pre-shared Key, too.
My problem is when once I'm connected to a access point (the client card connects itself with the more signal), then this card is wanted to connect with the other access point (because now this has more signal). I've problems with the second connection.

In summary, from my PC I execute:
$ iwlist wlan scan --> for example: signal access point_A > signal access point_B
$ iwconfig wlan0 --> it is connected with access point_A. If I do ping @access_pointA it is OK
...
$ iwlist wlan scan --> now signal access point_B > signal access point_A
$ iwconfig wlan0 --> it is connected with access point_B, but if I do ping @access_pointB it isn't OK (and I lose connectivity)

I don't know that it is wrong. Can somebody help me?

Thanks.

im not a linux user so..
all i can offer is the channels far apart from each other on the AP say 2 12

hope this helps

Stand up wherever you are, go to the nearest window and yell as loud as you can, 'I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.'

I do this, but it doesn't work well.
