Using IE5, I try to connect to a particular intranet site (writen in DHTML) which uses NT Challenge Response(NTLM) and Basic Authentication,my browser returns a Username/Password/Domain logon prompt, however it will not accept my credentials - I just recieve a "401 Unauthorised" message.
The problem does not relate to user rights as I am able to connect to this particular site from other machines on the same domain without having to supply any credentials (the way the NTLM should work).
Also I don't think it is a browser setting as on the problem machine I am not able to hit the site using Netscape either. On other machines I can use Netscape to hit the site but not gain full functionality (Netscape does not support DHTML).
Any suggestions?
