Authentication Issue

I am using NT 4 via a Firebox 1000 for my authentication and all has been fine until recently. When a user tries to autenticate they are denied the first time but if they try again they are authenticated. Nothing has changed recently apart from me installing the Watchguard Monitor etc onto a different server.

Any idea as to why this is happening?

What do your logs say when the user authenticates for the first time and it fails?
