I have setup authentication code a few years ago and have not touch it since. What is happenning is that the codes just stop working. When a user dials the code for long distance the system does not allow the code to go through, or just not getting a dial tone. Can someone point me in the right direction.

is the stutter tone present after the LD is dialed?

No, no dial tone is heard. When dialed it stop to 3 digits insted of going to the 4 digits dial.

have you looked at the RLI, is the MFRL higher than the FRL to prompt for the authcode?

As Bigindian65 mentioned - Authcodes change NCOS witch is usually match to FRL in the RLI.

What is curious is that it just stopped. If no changes were made to RLIs or NCTLs I would suspect some corruption.

You could probably lower the MFRL on your LD RLIs so you could get calls going again - but would schedule a Sysload if corruption. Are you getting any error code on switch when you try using authcodes?
