Anyone tried authenticating users with the new PIX image? I am interested in trying this. I understand it is a new feature of this image and you do not have to have a separate ias server. I understand the gist of it (I think) you point users to an AD server for authentication.

Any configuration examples?

Anyone have any issues converting over from 6.3.4 to the new image (specifically vpn users or pix to pix tunnels)?

Thanks for your help.

When I converted, my VPN group info didn't convert. So, I had to go back in and set up DNS and WINS. Other than that, I didn't have any problems.

Other than the pptp clients not authenticating it went ok.
PIX 7 doesn;t support pptp anymore.
