Hi

i`m using SmtpMail.Send(), it is ok .. but

wwher is the part wen i should specify the UID and PASS
for the sending mail server ??

i found a SERVER attribute to be se but it only takes url

please help i`m new to c#

From what I can see, if you choose to use a server, that server must accept a message from anyone (i.e. open relay). Since this is considered a very bad practice (spammers love it), I wouldn't rely on a server being available, unless you've got control over your environment (corporate server inside a firewall or two).

I think you'll be OK not setting it:

If the SmtpServer Property is not set, mail is by default queued on a Windows 2000 system, ensuring that the calling program does not block network traffic. If the SmtpServer property is set, the mail is delivered directly to the specified server.

You just have to make sure the server you install your assemblies on has the SMTP service installed.
