I have an office with approx. 40 telephones which require a 4 digit code to be entered to make an outside call. The office is now occupied with a new tenant that wants this removed from the phones. What is the easiest/fastest way to accomplish this.....

Nortel Opt 11 with Nortel M3902/M3903/M3904 phone sets...

When you print the 4 digit code what does it come up as? Are you saying they dial XXXX without a 9?

Probably the easiest thing to do is lower the FRL value on the RLI so it doesn't prompt for the auth code. Otherwise you will have to change the ncos on every phone.

These are Auth Codes, defined in LD88 if they are part of the PBX and not the carrier.

The fastest way out of AUTH codes is to change the FRL and MFRL in the Route Lists. The phones need to meet or exceed the FRL

The the better way is to change the NCOS of the phones to a "plan" then match the Rout Lists to that
