I have an opt 11c rls 25.40?? with pri. I am trying to set up the sets so they have to dial a code to make a ld call.
pick up the handset, dial ld# get stuttered dialtone.
So I have set up aub (clas 000 unr tgar 01 ncos 04 ) and aut (code+ clas 000) in ld 88. I have a telephone that is set up as tgar 1 ncos 0 (restricted) (ncos 4 is unrestricted) in ld 15 under ftr_data I have set naut to yes
yet when I make a ld call on the restricted set I am presented with re-order tone.
I am missing something, and it is something silly. Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

If your telephone is restricted with tgar 1 that means that your route has targ 1, so if that is the case your aub should not have tgar 1.

I don't doubt that is one of my problems but if the aub was incorrect in any way I would be getting the re-order tone after stuttered dialtone and the authcode.(wouldn't I???) I'm not even getting to that point. I dial 9 1+num and I get re-order The system is acting like there are no authcodes present and/or they are not "turned on". I don't see where it is required in any other ld to "turn on" authcodes.
Thanks.... confused

After it prints look for RANR it should be blank, if there is a number use CHG to RANR X

acewarlock, Yes the ran route is x
the light is slowly coming on...
"Authorisation code conditionally last
he user is prompted for an authorisation code entry only if
- an authorisation code was not previously entered
- the facility restriction level (frl) associated with the user's network class of service (ncos) is less than the service change assigned minimum FRL of the route list that NARS, BARS, or CDP would use for the call."
It sounds to me like I have one setting higher than the other. How to make that switch is the next 1000 miles...
Thanks... Still confused

by the way the authorisation codes work if I dial the spre code first
dialtone...1 6 (code)...dialtone 1+num... connected

Check your RLI's to see what the MFRL's are set for.

Set MFRL on the RLI to the level that you want the authcode to be prompted for.

err.. please go gentle on me, I am still learning...
could you translate that last post?
Thanks... stumped..

acewarlock... YOU DA MAN!!!!
ld 86, route list 9, had mfrl set to 0. Our office switch was set to 1.(office switch worked) set customer switch to 1 and I get stuttered dialtone.
thanks... Tickled pink

so... what else is adjusted by setting the mfrl from 0 to 1?
Have I opened a "back door"?
thanks... curious
