please read this slowly as I know it's going to be a little confusing.
One of my remote offices uses 4-digit auth codes that changes their phone from NCOS 0 to NCOS 4 (4 is needed to call beyond local area). So they first dial 36 then their 4 digit auth code. here's where it gets confusing. they then press CHARGE and enter a ten digit client/matter number. However, in the CDB the FCNC remains at 0 even after they enter a code. Which makes sense because the auth code is already giving them the ability to call out. So if they need to use CHARGE in order for our CDR to capture their calls, can't I just change the FCNC in the CDB to NCOS 4 and eliminate the need for the auth code entries at all? This seems like a very cumbersome procedure. Currently they first dial an auth code, then a charge code. Thank you very much.
