I have a timesheet report that runs automatically based on a calendar. One of the fields need to be updated to change the period date (this is static information) for the next time it executes. How can I get that to change automatically? Is there a formula I need to use in the report to change that field to the next value after the report runs successfully. If so, please help on how to do this.

something like

month(staticdatefield) = month(currentdate), would that make your calculation throw it?

a sample data of the field (PPeriod) data is as follows:
1/1/06 - 1/14/06
1/15/06 - 1/30/06
1/31/06 - 2/14/06

so if is uses the first line this time, next time I need it to automatically use the second line.

I'm working on a similar problem. I only need the max period so I'm thinking I could do a query on the max of all period values. The other idea I had was backing into the period value by working off the current date -- that's like what muffntuf suggested.

Jollyreaper, if you are around, I am still having problems with this report and have the payperiod (textfield) field automatically change to the next value. I was wondering if an array would do it but I am not very proficient in arrays either. Does anyone have any ideas?
