Is there a way to leave a message for an extension without actually calling the extension.
For example, with NORTEL we could dial an access code (2112) for an Express Message for Extension 1234.

Apologize if this is not the correct Forum.

It's called Guest password, you would dial into the Audix, enter the users extension and then the Guest password and leave a message for the user.

To allow users to deposit a message directly to Extn201's Voicemail box. This short code is useful when you know the person is not at her/his desk and you want to immediately leave a message rather than call the person and wait to be redirected to voicemail.

Short Code: *201

Telephone Number: "#Extn201"

Ekster, I believe this has nothing to do with IPO or VMPro just a question on the Audix which cannot interface to a IPO

yes in audix you would have to create this mailbox and on page 3 set all dial action to e I believe, but also you are in the wrong forum as well
