Audix Voice Power on Master Controller III problem

I have a potential customer that has AVP running on a Master Controller III...ok go ahead and laugh. The customer is having a problem with several mail boxes. You can call into the mail boxes leave messages and log into them to check the messages. The problem is when you press 2 to retrieve them you get the message "System Problem" and it returns to the menu.

I tried removing and re-adding the subscribers but it still does the same thing. I rebooted the MC III and when it got to Auditing Messages it failed. I realize this is probably a problem with the files on the hard drive and that the system is on its last leg. If anyone has any ideas other than shooting it I would appreciate it.

I would be upgrading/DOWNGRADING that AUDIX so fast....

A Merlin Mail or Merlin Messaging is something you can still get parts/support for.

The Audix, not so true.

This potential CUSTOMER is now a potential SALE.

He won't like you trying to, and failing to support something you can not fix.

MerlinMan is right on. The only possible shot might be the date. I had one of these I cranked back to 1995 ( I think matched this year ). It helped with the problem I had, but a long shot for you. Lack of Y2K on some of these, can give weird results too. Just a thought. Got to go have my glass of wine now and wrestle with my PRI dilema!

Actually, the Master Controller, if it is hooked up and running SPM would be worth keeping for that function.

But as I said, as far as the Voice Mail Part, it sounds broken.

Thanks Guys, I figure the hard drive is probably about gone on this thing. We are working on a new IP Office for this potential customer and I am just looking for something temporary.
