Audix VM backup 2

I have a very old Audix rel 4.0 with a few simple questions being asked by my IT group so here goes.
This machine uses tapes for backups

1. The nightly backup time..Is it set from the factory to run at a fixed time [ around 1:00 AM ] or can it be programmed by the administrator.

2. When the nightly backup runs, does it save only the messages left in the users mailbox, or does it save other info like greetings etc.

3. We have about 4 tapes that are full backups from prior months that are kept in a safe place, can we start rotating them and use them for a current backups instead of buying new tapes.

Any info will be greatly appreciated...

I have Audix r5
In my case:
1. log in under Customer Service/Administration you should see an option for choice for back up time

2. Saves all

3. I rotate them every 30 days.... easier to remember. However, you need to make sure they are still good. Some of them, if go bad.

again, different release, but about the same features...
