I have a couple of sites that have an Audix @ Release: 5.1-40 and while the site's support was attempting to install the release upgrade to 5.1-53, they got the following - "Error: Alert! Unable to connect to remote host." Both logged into the main console, not remote. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

you have to enter an IP address in the tcp/ip

rgtrgt - just to confirm, you are referring to the IP Address of the Audix correct?

yes, but my intuity has it & i get the same error trying to go into the software management menu, weird.

This may be the problem. This was released yesterday.

DST patch may be applied to 5.1.53 (Tier III only), otherwise, upgrade to 5.1.55 from CD which contains DST patch and is customer installable.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

I did the upgrade to R5.1.53. There was no issues for me. The instructions were exactly right. You will get some errors during the upgrade process. That is normal. Did you get upgrade sucessful at the end?

Tier III gets involved once you are running R5.1.53 then they log in an apply the patch.

R5.1.55 requires on Tier III intervention.

...guy55, didn't even get to do the install, site support get the following:

“Alert! Unable to connect to remote host. Then immediately following - Lynx: Can’t access start file
Referred to Avaya.
