Audix TN568 (Embedded) Administration

Hi,

I have inherited a Definity, (its in Spain – I’m in London) with an embedded Audix TN568 and need to know how I get admin access. In the UK I’m used to getting access via a multi port data buffer/modem. This is wired to the PBX and any adjuncts – voicemail, CMS etc., and allows me to switch ports for administration.

The Spanish PBX is administered through a normal modem that works fine. Is the voicemail likely to have its own modem and analogue line connected to the “octopus” cable or is there a way of administering through the PBX?

It will have its own most likely external us robotics modem. You cannot administer this through the definity system. You can however direct connect to the Audix with a null modem as well (probably not an option for you due to location).
