Is there a remote utility for administering the Audix Intuity vm system?

You can access the audix thru the Merlin System with either the DOS SPM or WinSPM (in Old SPM mode) using the 'PassThru' option. You will need to make sure that you have a connection from the 'Admin' port of the Merlin to the audix. Note that AVAYA does not support this setup as it's not always reliable, they require a modem connection to the audix if you require and maintenance or programming assistance from them. If you have a modem connection to the audix, the only 'real' software I am aware of is the ASA (Avaya Site Administration, aka Definity Site Administration). You might be able to get MS Windows 'Hyperterminal' to work, though you'll have to work at it, ie: you'll have to map the fuction key assignments to match a 513 or 4410 type terminal, etc.

pjolly,
I happened to be browsing the definity forum and found the escape key sequences if you need them.

string F1 = "\033OP" Cancel
string F2 = "\033OQ" Refresh
string F3 = "\033OR" Submit
string F5 = "\033OT" Help
string F6 = "\033Or" Go To Page
string F7 = "\033OV" Next Page
string F8 = "\033OW" Previous Page

I think that's right but I don't really work with this league of stuff :) good luck
