I don't know much about Audix - but just to be sure - try rotary enabling the ports that connect to the Audix system - and see if that makes a difference. The only other thing I can think of - is in Merlin and Magix voice mails you have to choose Selector Codes for "direct extension transfer" that match your dialing plan. (For example, if all of your extensions are in the 100 - 199 range, you have to activate Selector Code 1 for "direct extension transfer". If you don't - the AA will not directly transfer any calls to extensions in that range (100-199).
