Dear All,

is there way to decrese the number of rings before audix answer the call , now when you dial audix number it takes 5 rings to answer the call,

Customer needs when he dials audix group number it should prompt after 2 rings whre we reduce the number of rings
 
If you do a display sta on any of your stations, you will see an option for coverage path, which tells you the coverage path your telephones use. make a note of the coverage pat and issue a change cover pat "X". This will give you the screen of the coverage path number you entered. You will see the option "number of rings". This is where you set the number of rings before the VM kicks in.

What was my question was - I have 4 VM Extns in a group the group number is 444.all 4 extns pluged in to Audix box.

The extns in group is 320,321,322,323

When we dial 444 to Audix it takes almost 5 rings to get the voice prompt.

Can we reduce the number rings,


 
Your extension 444 should be a hunt group for your VM system. The hunt group will send it to the first available member. These should answer as soon as the call is passed off to the Audix.

What VM box are you working on? Post that I am may have the maintenance book for you to help resolve this.
