Audix and Definity times off

I was notified by a lady in my workplace that the times displayed on the phones and the time that Audix announces is off by about 20 minutes. If I look at the time display in audix the option to sync with the switch in set to "no", I do not know if this is set this way for a reason, my question is if it would be set this way why, and will it break anything in other settings to change it?
