Hello Guys

If anybody can show me the exact way of auditing and how to keep track of these information and all the views and table that can give information bout this..

I tried audit sql commands but I dont understand how to keep track the users working on it..

It will be a great help as i want to implement in my company..

Your best bet is to read the chapter about auditing in the Oracle Server Concepts manual. It not only tells you how to control auditing, but also how to read and maintain the audit trail.

Oracle has several pre-defined views on the AUD$ table that will aid you tremendously. This is also explained in the Server Concepts manual.

Thanks carp for the reply..

I tried all the commands that to be done on audiing but I didnt understand from where the result can be seen I checked out AUD$ table also but coudnt see any record inserted to it..

Thanks
Bins

I think your database auditing is not on. Please check your init.ora file where there is a entry "audit_trail = db". If not u need to enter that and restart your database. After restarting you may enter you audting statements and check AUD$ table. To understand options of auditing you may refer Oracle reference manual.
