Hi All,

As part of our latest audit, we need to be able to run regular reports on who has access to files on our file server.

Does anyone know of a good way to do this, or any 3rd party software that will give us nice reports to present to managers.

Thanks,

if you want free tools you can use create scripts using showacls or dumpsec and pipe the output to text files
There are many 3rd party tools that would also provide you this info, I have used Hyena in the past ( which can provide you with the reporting you need.
Hope this helps.
