auditing in oracle

Hi,

I am new to this forum, and just wanted to ask following questions pertaining to oracle database:

- If AUDIT_SYS_OPERATIONS is set to false, will details of activities (update , insert, delete) carried out by sys be logged.

- If auditing is enabled update , insert, delete activities carried out by DBA's are not being logged. In that case if DBA updates a record in the table containing financial data. Will this activity be logged at any level (application/database)

early response will be appreciated

thanks in advance
