Does anyone have Nortel SIP config notes to integrate the CS1000 with an Audiocodes MP-112 SIP.
I am looking for the Signaling Server config & NRS config.

I am able to dial internally but when I try to dial out from the Audio codes, it fails.

Thanks

Below information is based on a rls 5.5 system, 6 will be a little different as far as where things are located.

Couple things to check in your NRS, do you have an E.164 international route at all (on any endpoint)? On the NRS, go to Tools and SIP Phone Context, for your audiocodes endpoint do you have a just a + for E.164 international(or what do you have)?

I would also check your AudioCodes message log and see what you are getting for the source and destination number (if anything is being improperly manipulated). Another thing to check is if you are getting a 404 SIP response, this will tell you if the number you are sending to the NRS matches any available routes.

I just got done setting up my system for AudioCodes SIP so you can read through my fairly long thread on that as well.

+1 nikeair, glad to hear your gateway is working.

As far as signaling server config, you don't really need to do anything, as the AudioCodes attaches to the NRS as a gateway endpoint, so 99% of the configuration is between the NRS and the Audiocodes.

If you search for the thread the nikeair started, there is quite a bit on information there, including a complete AudioCodes config file.

Remember that the NRS uses the E.164 format to route public calls, so you will need to configure your public dialing routing entries as E.164 international calls, and make sure the dialed numbers conform to the E.164 format (in USA, basically 1+NPA+NXX+XXXX)
