Some tips or a working configuration for an Audiocodes Mediant ESBR running the latest v7.20 firmware would be good.
I found pre-v7 firmware quite easy to understand but the new firmware interface (where it looks better) does not give me the same results for setup - I am running v7.20 currently.
The SBC Wizard is great! but still does not work and most of the issues revolve I believe the SIP interfaces.
For example, I have a back to back ISDN setup with a Patton BRI gateway to the Audiocodes with a SIP trunk out of the back of the device, there is a 3CX PBX in front of the Patton but this is fine also.
I can clearly see that the Patton is passing the call to the Audiocodes, the Patton logging records:
SIP/2.0 503 Service Unavailable
ISDN-SIG # RELEASE (DSS1 User)
ISDN-SIG # [080280A2]
ISDN-SIG # Cause : no circuit channel available
ISDN-SIG # user - CCITT - Q.931
Then the logging on the Audiocodes records (I have replaced the numbers with x's for obvious reasons):
pstn recv <-- INCOMING_CALL (src:0xxxxxxxxxx dst:0xxxxxxxxxx redirect1: redirect2 Trunk:0 Conn:255 BChannel:1 OffhookInd:0 MoreDigits:1 ReverseCh:0 [Time:23-08@00:48:49.635]

[ERROR] SwitchEndPointsIfNeeded- BChannelNegotiation failed Trunk 0 BChannel -100 [Time:23-08@00:48:49.636]
pstn send --> PSTNDisconnectCall() Trunk:0 Conn:255 BChannel:1 Reason:34 Cause:34 CauseLoc:-1 Loc:-1 Des:-1 rc:0 [Time:23-08@00:48:49.636]
pstn recv <-- CALL_RELEASED Trunk:0 Conn:255 RetCause:104 NetCause:34 [Time:23-08@00:48:49.637]
Abnormal Disconnect cause:34#GWAPP_NO_CIRCUIT_AVAILABLE Trunk:0 Conn:255 [Time:23-08@00:48:49.639]
AcSIPDialog(#282)::TransactionFail - ClientTransaction(#440) failed sending message with CSeq 1 OPTIONS, the cause is Transport Error [Time:23-08@00:48:50.135]
The BRI port on the Audiocodes is up and running so it is the SIP trunk part I believe - does anyone know how to configure and register this part properly ?
